Basketball Recap: Munford Takes a Loss

Munford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 47-34 to the Central of Clay County Volunteers. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Volunteers are ranked 119th).

Munford's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Central of Clay County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Munford nor Central of Clay County have any future games scheduled.
