Baseball Game Preview: Redwood Giants vs. Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons

The Redwood Giants will venture away from home to challenge the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The last four games Redwood has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Redwood's victory against Archie Williams wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Redwood had just enough and edged out Archie Williams 5-3. The Giants haven't had any issues with the Peregrine Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jake Post tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Redwood is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-2-1 otherwise.

On the hitting side, TJ Beck was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Theo Trono also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The victory got Redwood back to even at 3-3-1. As for Archie Williams, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
