Volleyball Recap: West Scranton Invaders vs. Mountain View Eagles

West Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain View Eagles. The Invaders were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-20.

Mountain View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aubrey Sanders led the charge by getting 11 assists and five aces. Sanders has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played. Karley Norton was another key player, getting seven aces and six kills.

West Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mountain View, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.
