Volleyball Recap: Sparks Comes Up Short

Sparks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the South Tahoe Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-9, 25-9.

Sparks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for South Tahoe, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sparks will challenge rival Truckee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South Tahoe is set to take on their familiar foe Incline at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
