Football Recap: Firth Falls to New Plymouth in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Firth had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the New Plymouth Pilgrims, falling 28-6. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pilgrims apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

New Plymouth can attribute much of their success to Wahnay Say, who rushed for 65 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Firth will take on West Side at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Plymouth, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Payette at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
