Baseball Recap: Mulberry Panthers vs. Discovery Spartans
There's no place like home for Mulberry, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Discovery Spartans 4-3 on Friday.
Coby Anker tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mulberry let Brock Thielen and AJ Medina run wild. Thielen scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Medina scored a run while going 1-for-2. Lake Placid will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Discovery surely won't give up without a fight.
