Basketball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson suffered their biggest loss since January 7th on Friday. They had to suffer through a 53-24 loss at the hands of the University Prep Panthers. The Cubs haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last nine times they've met.

Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for University Prep, they pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Anderson has already played their next matchup, a 65-55 loss against Lassen on the 4th. As for University Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-57 victory against Eureka on the 1st.
