Broughton won against Cary  last Friday with 15  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. Everything went the Broughton Capitals' way against the Rolesville Rams as the Broughton Capitals made off with  a  15-5 win. With that  victory, the Capitals brought their scoring average up to 6.7  runs per game.
 Avery Troxell was a standout: she fired off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most  home runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Lucy Bertram was another key player,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Broughton was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rolesville only posted a  batting average of  .188.
The  win  got Broughton back to even at 3-3. As for Rolesville, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Broughton will host Knightdale  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Broughton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7  runs per game  this season. As for Rolesville, they will take on Wakefield at 4:30  p.m.  on March 18th.
