After losing to Wyoming the last time they met, Chaminade Julienne Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Cowboys are ranked 16th).

Chaminade Julienne Catholic's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Wyoming, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 18-2.
