Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bartram Trail). They blew past the Middleburg Broncos 34-7 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

Bartram Trail got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaila Pierce out in front who threw for 300 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes. Those five passing touchdowns gave Pierce a new career-high. Bartram Trail's leading receiver Lily Holden was Pierce's top target yet again, picking up 152 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Bartram Trail didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Holden.

Bartram Trail pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.6 points on average over those games. As for Middleburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Bartram Trail will host St. Augustine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middleburg, they have already played their next contest, a 20-19 defeat against Bradford on the 3rd.
