Softball Recap: Sweetwater Victorious

Sweetwater's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Southwest SD Raiders by a score of 11-8. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won nine in a row.

Ariana Tovar was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Kalea Cantero also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Sweetwater always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .634. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southwest SD only posted an OBP of .441.
