Starters returning O/D: 2/2.
Key losses: Hunter Johnson, Bryan Price, Chris Rodgers.
Players to watch: SE Josh Hejl (6-1, 175), C Casey Morgan (5-10, 170), RB Tyler Russell (5-9, 135), G Justin Lairson (6-0, 155).
Top sophomores: RB Derek Jesko (6-0, 175), LB Jared Howard (5-11, 160).
2010 notes: Folks expect good things from sophomore RB Russell, who has the potential to be the next great Abbott back - and the Panthers have had some pretty good ones. But there's not much varsity experience surrounding him. Qualifying for the playoffs would put this young team ahead of schedule.
