Volleyball Recap: Dora Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Sumiton Christian on Monday, Dora came back down to earth. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Cordova Blue Devils on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Cordova's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lexee King, who had 26 assists and two aces. What's more, King posted two kills, the most she's had over her last four matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Hagler, who had nine kills and four blocks.

Dora's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cordova, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Dora has already played their next contest (against Carbon Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cordova, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Oakman on the 28th.
