After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Broken Bow, Hilldale was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 45-32 victory over the Stilwell Indians. The Hornets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Stilwell still got an impressive performance from Brayton Carter, who rushed for 103 yards and one score, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Hilldale's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for Stilwell, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Hilldale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 36-22 victory against Poteau on the 31st. As for Stilwell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 42-0 loss against Sallisaw on the 30th.
