Frostproof won against Clewiston on Wednesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Lake Placid Dragons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since March 14, 2025.

Bradley Roberts was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Ashton Feagle was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one double.

The victory made it two in a row for Frostproof and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Lake Placid, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Frostproof will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dragons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
