Baseball Recap: Jennings County Takes a Loss

Jennings County lost against Madison back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers lost 8-2 to the Cubs. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jennings County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zane Weinhorst, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Jennings County's record now sits at 10-14. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Jennings County will challenge Lawrenceburg at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Tigers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Madison, they will face off against North Harrison at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
