Soccer Game Preview: Asheville School (Independent) vs. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee

For the first time this season, Asheville School (Independent) will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to challenge the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Asheville School (Independent) can't be to happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to SouthLake Christian Academy.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Rabun Gap-Nacoochee sidestepped Tallulah Falls for a 2-1 victory. That's two games straight that Rabun Gap-Nacoochee have won by just one goal.

Asheville School (Independent) suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Asheville School (Independent) avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
