 Caldera will head out on the road to  square off against  the Mountain View Cougars at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Caldera is coming into the  game hot, having won their last three games.
 Caldera will bounce into Wednesday's   match after  beating Mountain View, who they hadn't topped in three consecutive meetings. Caldera had just enough and edged Mountain View out  5-4.
  Brooklyn Chapin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   six  hits. Chapin has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings every time she's  pitched this season. Chapin was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Chapin wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Elie Hall, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Hall is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: she's   stolen at least one every time she's  taken the field this season.
 Caldera's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
