Football Recap: Pigeon Forge Tigers vs. Polk County Wildcats

Pigeon Forge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 21-12 to the Polk County Wildcats. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 6-0 in the first quarter.

McCoy Smith threw for 113 yards and one touchdown while completing 78.6% of his passes. Max Cable was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Ayden Hood rushed for 43 yards and one TD.

Pigeon Forge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Polk County, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

The Royals will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
