Volleyball Recap: Byron's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Byron had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the John Marshall Rockets as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-11, 25-11.

Byron's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Teagan Busack, who had three digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Busack a new career-high.

Busack wasn't the only good server: Byron was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Byron's record now sits at 4-0. As for John Marshall, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Byron will square off against Stewartville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for John Marshall, they will face off against Winona at 7:15 a.m. on Thursday.
