After flying high against Woodland last Thursday, Tumwater came back down to earth. The Thunderbirds fell just short of the Aberdeen Bobcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Tumwater's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Tumwater's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Aberdeen, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Tumwater is set to take on their familiar foe WF West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tumwater are on a three-game streak of home wins, WF West a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. Meanwhile, Aberdeen will face off against rival Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
