Softball Recap: Northbridge Comes Up Short

Northbridge and Bellingham squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Northbridge had to settle for second. They came up short against the Blackhawks, falling 7-1. Having soared to a lofty 27 runs in the game before, the Rams couldn't push the score so high this time.

Northbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Bellingham, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Northbridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bellingham, they will square off against Wahconah Regional on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Blackhawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
