Volleyball Recap: Bryan Takes a Loss

Bryan lost against Burke back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bears fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Among those leading the charge was Ana Gigitashvili, who had six aces and five digs. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Bryan has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 15 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-27 record this season. As for Burke, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-19 record this season.

Bryan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Buena Vista on the 21st. As for Burke, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Marian on the 20th.
