Softball Recap: McGehee Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for McGehee's offense. They came up short against the DeWitt Dragons on Monday, falling 15-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Owls, who until this contest were averaging 3.78 runs allowed.

This is the second loss in a row for McGehee and nudges their season record down to 12-6. As for DeWitt, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.

McGehee will venture away from home to challenge Star City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for DeWitt, they will host Rison at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
