Baseball Recap: Norview Comes Up Short

Norview's last matchup with Maury could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Pilots lost 14-0 to the Commodores. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pilots of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Norview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malaki Littlejohn, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one double. That double marked the first that Littlejohn hit this season.

Norview dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Maury, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norview will venture away from home to square off against King's Fork at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Maury, they will head out to face off against Manor at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
