Basketball Recap: Wesley Harrigan Key Part of Team Effort in Bobcats Win

Bosque won the last time they faced Academy for Technology and The Classics and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bosque Bobcats enjoyed a cozy 64-49 win over Academy for Technology and The Classics. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

Bosque got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Wesley Harrigan out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Those 16 points gave Harrigan a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Oliver Tumolo, who went 6-for-11 en route to 12 points along with six boards and four steals.

Academy for Technology and The Classics lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cayleb Blea, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 15 points and three steals. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikey Mora, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 13 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Bosque's record now sits at 19-7. As for Academy for Technology and The Classics, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.

Bosque does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Academy for Technology and The Classics, they will face off against Santa Fe Indian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
