Basketball Game Preview: Haddonfield Bulldawgs vs. Moorestown Quakers

Haddonfield and Moorestown are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Haddonfield Bulldawgs will challenge the Moorestown Quakers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Haddonfield will head out to face Moorestown after giving up their first home loss of the season on Thursday. Haddonfield fell to Haddon Township 49-45. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldawgs came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Hawks are ranked 203rd).

Meanwhile, Moorestown came up short against Paul VI on Thursday and fell 52-44. The Quakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moorestown's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Haddonfield, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-4.

Haddonfield didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Moorestown in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 43-39 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Haddonfield since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
