Volleyball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Faith Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Varsity Opponent on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Conquerors lost 3-0 to the Community Christian Cyclones on Tuesday. The Conquerors haven't had much luck with the Cyclones recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Community Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isabella Ford, who had 11 digs. Another player making a difference was Autumn Bradshaw, who had eight assists and four digs.

Faith Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Community Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Faith Christian Academy will welcome Gramercy Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Community Christian, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Southside Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
