Volleyball Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short at Home Against Patton + How To Watch

Freedom unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Patton Panthers on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

While Freedom was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Patton's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-21.

Kaitlyn Hagmann paced Freedom's offense, picking up ten kills. Hagmann got some help from Camryn Warlick and her six assists. Mia Furches controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Freedom will head out to square off against Hibriten at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Patton, they will challenge South Caldwell at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
