Softball Recap: Prospect Takes a Loss

Prospect fell victim to Barrington and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Fillies/Broncos, falling 20-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since April 16th.

This is the second loss in a row for Prospect and nudges their season record down to 18-6. As for Barrington, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-2-1.

Prospect and Barrington should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Knights will challenge Rolling Meadows at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (61 vs. 404). Meanwhile, Barrington (ranked 17th) will meet Schaumburg (ranked 293rd) at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
