Airell Aguilar put up the most runs he's had since back in March on Thursday. He scored three runs while going 2-for-4. He has become a key player for Goddard: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-10 otherwise.

Aguilar's strong effort led Goddard over Lovington and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rockets are a perfect 10-0 against the Wildcats going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
