Basketball Recap: Red Mountain Mountain Lions vs. Westwood Warriors
Red Mountain won the last time they faced Westwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Mountain Mountain Lions breezed by the Westwood Warriors to the tune of 68-27. Red Mountain found their leader in sophomore Travon Darby, who went 7 of 11 en route to 16 points and three steals. Darby's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Viktor Johannsson, who posted nine points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.
Red Mountain smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westwood only pulled down five offensive boards.
