Football Game Preview: Mountain View Bruins vs. Salem Hills Skyhawks + Official Tickets

Two dominant signal callers in Tate Johnson and Ryder Hales are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Mountain View Bruins will head out on the road to take on the Salem Hills Skyhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View has given up an average of 37.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mountain View will head out to face Salem Hills after giving up their first home loss of the season on Wednesday. The Bruins were outmatched by Provo and fell 69-7. The Bruins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 62-7.

Mountain View's defeat came about despite a quality game from Briggy Moses, who picked up 111 receiving yards and one TD. Moses' longest reception was for an incredible 77 yards.

Meanwhile, Salem Hills waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lakers 48-7. That looming 48-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Skyhawks yet this season.

Salem Hills had a senior duo take command as Benjamin Staheli gained 152 total yards and three touchdowns and Treygan Fusselman rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries. Staheli also set a new season-high mark in rushing yards with 109.

Salem Hills' win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Mountain View, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Mountain View took a serious blow against Salem Hills in their previous matchup last Thursday, falling 42-7. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bruins were down 35-0.
