Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Portland). They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 69-37 victory over the Macon County Tigers . The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-15.

Leading Portland to victory were Nate Honeycutt and Tristan Calvert. Honeycutt went 8 for 10 en route to 20 points and five rebounds, while Calvert went 8 of 14 on his way to 19 points and eight boards. The dominant performance also gave Honeycutt a new career-high in blocks (two). Evan Brown was another key player, putting up six points and six assists.

Portland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Portland's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Macon County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.

Portland will square off against White House at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. White House is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season. As for Macon County, they will take on Allen County-Scottsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
