South River has gone a perfect 9-0 against Annapolis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Seahawks will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses dating back to last season for South River and three for Annapolis.

South River came up short against Broadneck on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While South River was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Broadneck's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12, 25-20.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Annapolis and Severna Park, and Severna Park kept the tradition alive. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Falcons on Thursday.

While Annapolis had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 25-19.

Annapolis' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South River, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything went South River's way against Annapolis in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, as South River made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Seahawks repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
