Softball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial and Wellington squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Centennial had to settle for second. They fell 5-0 to the Wolverines. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Eagles haven't been shut out since back in April.

With the defeat, Centennial broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-8. As for Wellington, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wellington, they will square off against Jupiter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
