Softball Recap: West Bolivar Takes a Loss

West Bolivar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Leland Cubs, falling 23-4. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

West Bolivar now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Leland, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Leland beat West Bolivar by a score of 21-4 later that day.
