Volleyball Recap: Scotts Valley Comes Up Short

Scotts Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Soquel Knights, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-17.

Scotts Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Soquel, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Scotts Valley will take on rival Santa Cruz at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Soquel is set to face off against their familiar foe San Lorenzo Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
