Coastal Christian has gone a perfect 5-0 against Shandon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Coastal Christian will challenge Shandon at 3:30 p.m. Coastal Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Shandon will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, Coastal Christian got the win against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy by a conclusive 12-1. The game marked the Conquerors' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Shandon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Valley Christian Academy, falling 13-2.

Shandon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Byron Uzeta Haros, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.

Coastal Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. Shandon's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Coastal Christian's way against Shandon when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Coastal Christian made off with a 16-6 win. Does Coastal Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Shandon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
