Basketball Game Preview: Greenfield Knights vs. Coastal Christian Centurions

The Greenfield Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Coastal Christian Centurions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Coastal Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Greenfield, who comes in off a win.

Greenfield will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Farmville Central, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Greenfield managed a 74-68 victory over Farmville Central on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Coastal Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Fayetteville Christian, falling 72-35.

Greenfield's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Coastal Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Everything came up roses for Greenfield against Coastal Christian in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured an 87-32 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greenfield since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
