Flag Football Recap: Granite Bay Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Granite Bay proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 37) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-12 win over the Oak Ridge Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Grizzlies have posted since October 29, 2024.

Granite Bay didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Oak Ridge to a completion percentage of just 43.8%. The team can thank Madison Castelanos for the heroic effort on defense: she. Granite Bay wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 68.9%.

Granite Bay didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Rebecca Wilson and Gianna Al-Shaikh. Al-Shaikh has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last three times she's played.
