McDowell has gone 8-2 against Patton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The McDowell Titans will be playing at home against the Patton Panthers at 6:30 p.m. McDowell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

McDowell took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They skirted past A.C. Reynolds 4-2. The four-run effort marked the Titans' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The team relied heavily on Kyson Rinnert, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Keller Bradley, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Patton fell victim to East Rutherford and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 10-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

McDowell now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Patton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Patton's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: McDowell has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .465. It's a different story for Patton, though, as they've only averaged .329. Will they be able to contain McDowell's hitters?

McDowell skirted past Patton 7-5 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will McDowell repeat their success, or does Patton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
