Soccer Recap: Greenville Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Greenville and Corinth squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Greenville had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corinth Warriors.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 16-2. As for Corinth, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7-1 record this season.

Greenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Corinth, they will square off against Lafayette on Tuesday. Lafayette will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Corinth surely won't give up without a fight.
