Basketball Recap: Red Lodge Skates Past Roundup with Ease

Red Lodge had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They breezed by the Roundup Panthers to the tune of 53-26 on Friday. The Rams' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Red Lodge was led to victory by Kinley Bray and Alyssa Emineth. Bray posted eight points in addition to five boards and three steals, while Emineth went 5 for 10 on her way to 10 points and six rebounds. Emineth is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Reimer, who had six points and seven rebounds.

Red Lodge's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Roundup, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Park City the next time they take the court. Roundup will host Park City at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Red Lodge will head out to face them on January 4, 2025.
