Basketball Recap: Northern Nash Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Kingston Little and Jamiere Harris

Northern Nash was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 54-47 to the Knightdale Knights. The game marked Northern Nash's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Northern Nash's loss came despite strong showings from JaMiere Harris and Kingston Little. Harris posted 13 points and six rebounds, while Little put up seven points and nine rebounds. Little is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. CJ Rosser Jr. was another key player, putting up eight points.

It was another big night for Isaiah Green, who had 14 points and eight steals for Knightdale. Green has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 38 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zarion Williams, who posted six points along with 12 rebounds and five blocks.

Northern Nash's record now sits at 6-5. As for Knightdale, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Northern Nash will head out to challenge Roanoke Rapids at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northern Nash is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.7 points per game this season. As for Knightdale, they will host Apex at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Knightdale's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Apex has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
