It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mater Academy East Las Vegas had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls as they made off with a 75-53 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amija Macon, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 boards. The contest was Macon's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myla Faught, who went 9-for-15 on her way to 23 points along with six rebounds and five steals.

The victory (which was Mater Academy East Las Vegas' fifth in a row) raised their record to 21-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39 points. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas has already played their next game, a 62-41 defeat against Virgin Valley on the 14th. Sports Leadership & Management does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
