Soccer Recap: Sunapee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pittsfield on Monday, Sunapee came back down to earth. The Lakers lost 5-1 to the Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors on Wednesday. Sunapee were not able to make up for their defeat to Wilton-Lyndeborough from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Sunapee now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunapee will square off against Portsmouth Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wilton-Lyndeborough, they will face off against Farmington/Nute at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
