Softball Recap: Conneaut Area Takes a Loss

Conneaut Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 6-3 to the Montini Catholic Broncos.

Conneaut Area saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Gilliand, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Conneaut Area's record now sits at 0-3. As for Montini Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Conneaut Area is taking a road trip to challenge Northwestern at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montini Catholic, they will take on Monona Grove at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
