Basketball Recap: Corpus Christi Moody Comes Up Short

Corpus Christi Moody was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Aransas Pass Panthers 86-38. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1222nd, while the Panthers are ranked 336th).

Corpus Christi Moody's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Aransas Pass, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Corpus Christi Moody will be playing at home against Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Aransas Pass, they will take on Little Cypress-Mauriceville in a tournament on Thursday.
