Volleyball Recap: Pine View's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Pine View suffered their biggest loss since April 23, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Lone Peak Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Saturday.

Despite the defeat, Pine View saw an underclassman step up: sophomore David Croxall had nine digs and one assist. Those nine digs gave Croxall a new career-high.

Pine View's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. As for Lone Peak, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine View will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hurricane at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Lone Peak, they will challenge Wasatch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
